If you accidentally word something not to their liking (like All Lives Matter instead of just Black Lives Matter) you’re an infidel that should be excommunicated. If you have a picture up they deem inappropriate they will attack your life through media warfare. (Note Islam faith does this too with pictures of Muhammad.) Exact same thing. If you’re white and straight male you’re automatically judged as being a supremacist or privileged. Superstitious mythology is all it is and the sheep are being herded under it. It’s become a mob that goes around on social media, and mainstream media and judges regular people with their Woke Inquisition. Most times it’s irrational and outrageous just like the burning of witches was or beheading non believers by Jihadists…but that didn’t stop them. The fact it being Irrational and simply craziness doesn’t stop “woke” people neither. The largest and most disturbed cult of the 21st century. If you’re not a vocal member of their faith then you’re against them and they reach out to either convert you, and if you refuse they will (try to) obliterate you’re reputation and career

Old things are treasured because they are believed to come from a less consumer-driven time (see: moustaches, suspenders, record players). Simple, streamlined products are prized because less features make them appear less commercially exploitative (see: fixed gear bikes, mason jars). Typewriters are loved, because they are both old and single-featured–there’s no room for inauthentic consumer manipulation. Even Apple products (often an argument of derision against the hipster) are brilliantly crafted to project extreme simplicity. There’s a running snide commentary that hipsters are just conforming to non-conformity. Ready for this, Quora? If atheism isn’t a religion, then nonconformity isn’t conformity.
