Woke originally was just a way to describe someone who understood social issues and social spaces. The problem with this became that wokeness wasn’t just about education but it became a whole movement. Sometimes this movement had contradictions in it. Even though we were supposed to be supporting black people, the Some of us grew up listening to Bob Seger the cool ones still do shirt Furthermore, I will do this woke movement canceled black comedians who had jokes that were considered homophobic or transphobic. In my book you’re Black first, then sexual or gender identity second. We were supposed to support women but now women just means you identity as female. So now you have men who aren’t trans just gay trying to be women for the sake of womenhood. We supported disabled people but now some people abuse the system and just choose not to work. But the woke movement said we had to accept and support all these people.

Hipster constantly changes definition. Most of the time a hipster will come off a little bit metrosexual. Usually they enjoy old school things and enjoy putting their own spin on it. Sometimes they listen to local or underground music too. They usually have a collection of alternative, folk, soft rock, bands from highschool or college, and hip hop with obscure themes. They also seem to enjoy more obscure brands in fashion and food. Hipsters come from all over the political spectrum too. I guess the stereotypes can be annoying but I wouldn’t say it’s damaging. I guess you could make it an issue but most grown people don’t care.
