Hipsters are biologically people, and some of them mature into quite nice folks, so we shouldn’t really stick them away in a dusty attic. It’s not the fashion people are bashing so much as the attitude and mindset that most often comes along with it. The holier-than-thou, I’m-cooler-than-you, before-it-was-cool attitude. The level of snobbery that they mix with working class/working poor fashion. Most are very elitist, smug, and were the ones that mocked/bullied people for wearing or doing the exact same things because that was what they could afford/had access to. The hipsters claim it makes them cool, because despite the fact they have the money/access to certain things in life, they choose to do things differently. Many will also still mock/bully those that wear similar clothes, glasses, etc. because that is their only option/choice. They’d bully a kid in school for not being able to afford the trendiest glasses, while choosing to buy fashion clear lenses for a look. They’d pick on someone for wearing hand-me-downs, while bragging about their ethically sourced second hand fashion choices. They’d spend extra money on farm-to-table dinners in a restaurant, but turn up their nose at someone who makes pretty much the same food because that is all they can afford.

Within a few minutes of reaching the highway, a huge branch from the tree fell down on the bonnet of the car. The front part of the car was completely damaged. As soon as I heard the news, I felt that the new car was very unlucky for them. The car was insured and they were ready to give my neighbors a new car. I thought my neighbor would agree to give back the unlucky damaged car and get a brand new one. But my neighbor said this, “Why do you consider my car as unlucky. It is a lucky car. It took the danger which came to us and saved our lives. If we are alive, it’s only because of this car. I do not want another car. Just get this car repaired.”
